Chairs the Caban board, bringing decades of public and private sector leadership across South Africa.

Head of IT Risk Governance at FNB's Chief Risk Office; provides corporate governance oversight to the Caban board.
Ben Botes
Entrepreneur and investor with more than two decades of company-building and multiple exits. He has taken an impact fund public in Europe and is now a General Partner of Caban Global Reach Private Equity, a fintech and healthcare fund.

More than 15 years in administration and business support give Tanya a strong operational background for helping businesses explore funding opportunities to support their growth. She holds a Certificate in Supply Chain Management and is completing a Higher Certificate in Business Management.
Chris Louw
Thirty years across commercial banking, development finance and capital raising. Ran the National Empowerment Fund’s Western Cape office 2012–2018; nine years with Standard Chartered, latterly as Director of Local Corporates. Founded the SME advisory practice Matinic. Joined Caban August 2026.
Merushi Kikola Kayembe
An entrepreneur in his own right, Merushi works across sales, acquisitions and financial investments to facilitate business growth and connect businesses with suitable capital solutions.
